Terms and conditions

This is the small print that legislation demands be present on this site. For everyone’s sake I have tried to keep it as short as possible, so here goes…

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

GENERAL

This site exists to allow you to order photographs and photographic products in various forms (including as prints and digital files). It’s run by me, David Harding, using web facilities provided by Photodeck. Should technical gremlins mean that any part of the site isn’t fully functional for any reason, you're always welcome to contact me by phone, e-mail or post.

PROVISION OF SERVICE

When you place an order, I will process it and and place it with the appropriate printing laboratory. Prints are normally despatched from the laboratory directly to your address. The time they take to arrive will depend partly on the postal service. If you need something by a specific date, please let me know and I will do my best to ensure it arrives on time. Extra carriage charges might be incurred for speedy delivery.

Digital files will be delivered by download from this site, by e-mail or by file-transfer site unless you request a CD.

RETURNS POLICY

If anything you order from this site does not match its description or is in any way sub-standard, I will replace it or refund your payment.

SUBSTITUTION OF IMAGES

When hundreds of images need processing as quickly as possible following an event, it's possible to miss technical imperfections that become apparent on closer inspection. Should a technically compromised shot be ordered, I reserve the right to substitute it for the closest equivalent. This will often be the previous or next shot in the sequence, and might not have been uploaded to the site. In the event that there is no reasonably close match, I will let you know. You can then choose an alternative shot or cancel your order.

PRIVACY POLICY

The wording here gets a bit more formal, as it’s based on some standard standard wording that’s used for this sort of thing, so please bear with me…
